How much luggage fits in a Heathrow airport taxi?
2 large suitcases, comfortably, plus a hand-luggage item per passenger. It's a standard estate boot rather than an extended one, so 2 large cases is the practical limit for a smooth close of the tailgate. A 3rd case will usually go in if one of the other two is a medium or a soft-sided bag rather than a hard-shell large case.

What if I have more luggage than the car can take?
Call before you book, not on the day. We can arrange a second vehicle to travel alongside for larger groups or extra luggage, so everything and everyone travels together rather than being split across separate bookings you'd have to arrange yourself at the terminal.
This applies whether the extra volume is a 4th passenger, a 3rd and 4th large case, or an item like a bike box that doesn't share boot space well with anything else.
Golf clubs, bike boxes and instrument cases
A golf bag usually fits alongside 1 large suitcase, taking the place of the second case's space. A full hard bike box does not fit in the estate boot alongside other luggage — flag it when booking so we can plan a second vehicle rather than finding out at the kerb that it won't go in. Musical instrument cases vary hugely by size: a guitar or violin case travels like a large suitcase; a cello or double bass case needs a call ahead.
Pushchairs and travel cots
A folded pushchair fits alongside 1 large suitcase. A travel cot takes up roughly the same boot space as a large suitcase, so it counts toward your 2-case allowance if you're travelling with one, rather than being extra on top.

Is this different from Uber's luggage limit?
Uber's standard car category is usually smaller than a dedicated estate, and the app matches you with a driver before anyone's asked how much luggage you have. A family with 3-4 cases can end up matched to a car that physically can't take them all, discovered only at the pickup point. Kings' capacity is fixed and known before you book, so there's nothing to discover at the kerb.
