Cardiff is an event-driven city and we run this route regularly for rugby internationals and concerts at the Principality Stadium, football at Cardiff City Stadium, and shows at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay. On match and concert days the roads around Westgate Street and the city centre close, so we drop as close as the stewarding allows and approach via the A4232 Western Avenue. Because the fare is fixed, event-day traffic never changes the price. We also cover the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff University and Cardiff Central station at the same fixed fare.

There is no direct train or coach from Heathrow to Cardiff. The train route means getting into London Paddington first (Elizabeth line or Heathrow Express) and then a Great Western Railway service to Cardiff Central, roughly £45 to £80 and about 3 hours door-to-door with two luggage changes. National Express coaches run from Heathrow to Cardiff but involve a change and take four hours or more.
