Where does my driver meet me at Heathrow Terminal 4?

Where is the Terminal 4 pick-up zone?

Outside the terminal, signposted from the arrivals hall. Heathrow closed the Terminal 4 multi-storey car park, which held Terminal Parking and meet and greet parking, on 23 June 2026 for redevelopment. Pickups at Terminal 4 now happen at the designated pick-up zone instead.

When you reach the pick-up zone, call or message us with the number of the zone you are standing at. The driver is waiting nearby and drives round to that zone, so you are not left at the kerb guessing which car is yours.

Can my driver wait inside Terminal 4?

No. We do not wait in the arrivals hall with a name board. Heathrow does not allow pickups from the forecourt drop-off area, and a driver parking up to walk into the terminal adds cost without getting you on the road any sooner.

What if I can't reach the driver at Terminal 4?

When your booking is confirmed, we send you the driver's name and mobile number. Keep it to hand, just in case: call, text or WhatsApp the driver if you can't find each other.

No UK SIM card? Most overseas phones roam on UK networks, and Heathrow's free Wi-Fi (network name "_Heathrow Wi-Fi") covers Terminal 4 arrivals, so WhatsApp calls and messages work. The driver does not leave until you have reached the car or rearranged the pickup.

How long will my driver wait at Terminal 4 if my flight is delayed?

60 minutes free wait from your actual landing, not scheduled. Flight tracking adjusts pickup automatically. Beyond 60 minutes, £15 per additional hour applies, but only if you ask the driver to stay. Full detail in our flight delay and wait policy.

Can Uber or Bolt pick up at Terminal 4?

Not from the forecourt drop-off area. Heathrow does not allow pickups there, so app drivers also collect from a pick-up area, with app pricing that can rise at busy times. For long-distance trips of 50 miles or more, a pre-booked fixed fare is usually cheaper and the car is confirmed before you land.

Where is the black cab rank at Terminal 4?

At the Terminal 4 arrivals forecourt, signposted from the customs exit. Black cabs run on a meter: no fixed price upfront. For long-distance fares like Heathrow to Oxford (£140+ metered) or Birmingham, pre-booked is cheaper and the driver is known.

Is there a charge for taxi pickup at Terminal 4?
