Where exactly is the Terminal 5 pickup point?

The pickup point is Terminal Parking, Terminal 5, also called Car Park 5, postcode TW6 2GA. It was called Short Stay until September 2025, so signs may still say Short Stay. It is next to the terminal and linked by covered walkways. Kings allows about eight minutes from arrivals with luggage.

Call or message your driver once you have your bags, then walk to the car park. The driver drives round and usually reaches the pickup point about five minutes after your call.

Terminal 5 arrivals hall: useful facts

• Two meeting points

  Heathrow has two official meeting points in Arrivals, north and south. The south meeting point is near Costa Coffee in the hall.

• Arrivals floor

  Arrivals is on the ground floor of Terminal 5, while departures is on the top floor. Check signs carefully when arranging where to wait.

• Terminal character

  Heathrow calls Terminal 5 the UK's largest free-standing building. It is British Airways' main Heathrow hub, so those names may appear on airport information.

• Sofitel nearby

  The Sofitel hotel is near Terminal 5. It can serve as a recognisable local landmark, although your Kings pickup remains in Terminal Parking.

• Bags and trolleys

  Free baggage trolleys are available throughout the baggage reclaim hall. If a bag is delayed or missing, use the airline desks in the reclaim area.

• Terminal Wi-Fi

  Connect to the free Heathrow Wi-Fi network throughout the terminal. Registration is required, and the connection can be used for WhatsApp calls or messages.

What if I can't reach the driver at Terminal 5?

Your driver's name and mobile number are sent when the booking is confirmed. Call, text or WhatsApp them. If you do not have a UK SIM, register for Heathrow's free network, "Heathrow Wi-Fi". It works for WhatsApp.

Can my driver wait inside Terminal 5?

No. There is no name board in arrivals, and Heathrow does not allow pick-ups from the forecourt, so the driver waits nearby and comes to Terminal Parking when you call.

How long will my driver wait at Terminal 5 if my flight is delayed?
